Ballroom is in Nederland nog een relatief nieuwe en onderbelichte kunstvorm. The Eindhoven Ballroom Functions vinden elke tweede woensdag van de maand plaats in Dynamo. Ballroom Functions bieden een veilige plek voor de Ballroom community om te trainen voor de officiële wedstrijden. De ballroom scene is een van oorsprong Afro- en Latijns-Amerikaanse LHBTQ+ scene waarin competities worden gehouden in kunstvormen als dans, drag en catwalk. Stereotype man- en vrouwbeelden worden impliciet ter discussie gesteld.
Ballroom is still a relatively new and underexposed art form in the Netherlands. The Eindhoven Ballroom Functions take place every second Wednesday of the month at Dynamo. The Ballroom Functions provide a safe space for the Ballroom community to train for official competitions. The ballroom scene is originally an Afro-Latinx LGBTQ+ scene in which competitions are held in art forms such as dance, drag, and catwalk. Stereotypical gender norms are implicitly questioned.
