Carte Blanche is een theatergezelschap dat naast het maken van voorstellingen ook makers met én zonder beperking opleidt. Binnen het reguliere theater en theateronderwijs is doorgaans geen plaats voor acteurs met een beperking. Om hun talent tot volle wasdom te brengen, is meer tijd nodig, meer geduld en meer bereidheid om het talent te (h)erkennen. Carte Blanche maakt al meer dan vijfentwintig jaar theater van en voor iedereen, waarbij zorg en artistieke kwaliteit hand in hand gaan. Carte Blanche wordt dit jaar voor de derde keer op rij genomineerd voor de Eindhoven Cultuurprijs.
Carte Blanche is a theatre group that, in addition to creating performances, also trains performers with and without disabilities. In regular theatre and theatre education, there is often no place for actors with a disability. In order to bring their talent to full maturity, more time is needed, more patience and more willingness to recognize and acknowledge their talent. Carte Blanche has been making theatre shows about and for everyone for over twenty-five years where careand artistic quality go hand in hand. Carte Blanche is nominated for the Eindhoven Culture Award for the third consecutive year.
