Niek Traa is mede-oprichter van de inmiddels wereldwijd bekende breakdance crew The Ruggeds. Hij fungeert persoonlijk aIs ambassadeur voor jonge dansers in Eindhoven. Nationaal en internationaal is hij een ambassadeur voor urban dans en hij geldt als een rolmodel voor de jongere generatie. Als performer en docent inspireert hij jonge dansers, als filmmaker zoekt hij nieuwe wegen om het publiek te verbinden en als theatermaker zoekt hij constant naar nieuwe manieren om hiphop te verbeelden. Zo zet hij de hiphopcultuur en Eindhoven wereldwijd op de kaart.
Niek Traa is co-founder of the now world-famous breakdance crew The Ruggeds. He personally serves as the ambassador for young dancers in Eindhoven. Nationally and internationally, he is an ambassador for urban dance and is considered a role model for the younger generation. As a performer and teacher, he inspires young dancers, as a filmmaker he looks for new ways to connect his audience and as a theatre maker, he constantly searches for new ways to reimagine hip-hop.
